Alzi la mano chi non è meteoropatico. Pioggia, vento, freddo e neve fanno cambiare non solo l’umore ma pure le abitudini alimentari ad un italiano su quattro. In coincidenza con le tempeste vincono zuppe e tisane calde e la voglia di rimanere a casa. Stando all'indagine del centro studi di Confcooperative, crescono anche le letture di libri e magazine del 10-15%, come pure del 20% le maratone di serie tv o di film. Per lo shopping, l'eCommerce batte il negozio tradizionale e questo anche nella spesa alimentare a domicilio, per ricevere pranzi e cene direttamente nel proprio appartamento.
È la stagione delle zuppe di verdure
Quanto alla dieta, la scelta degli italiani premia con il +15-20% i pasti caldi con zuppe di verdure o di pesce e le centrifughe per fare il pieno di frutta e rafforzare le difese immunitarie. In leggera flessione sotto il 10%, le partenze per i weekend fuori porta, mentre tengono le terme e i soggiorni in strutture con centri benessere.
Dieta salva-umore
Per chi resta a casa c'è la dieta salva-umore che prevede verdure a foglia verde scuro. Gli spinaci sono ricchi di vitamina C e di magnesio, due sostanze importanti per trasformare il triptofano e la tiroxina in serotonina e dopamina, i neurotrasmettitori responsabili di felicità e benessere, mentre le bietole hanno un effetto antidepressivo grazie al magnesio.

Ottimo il miele, che deve il suo effetto antidepressivo alla quercitina e il cacao crudo, ricco di antiossidanti e di sostanze che permettono il rilascio di endorfine, gli ormoni del benessere. Noci, mandorle, nocciole, ma anche semi di girasole e semi di lino, di zucca sono una buona fonte di sostanze benefiche per il buonumore a partire dal loro contenuto di acidi grassi omega 3. E per questo non devono mancare, pesci, molluschi e crostacei.
